Hi, I'm Helen Kharkov.
Currently based in Glen Huntly, Melbourne, I specialise in bridal, commercial, editorial, personal branding, and creative makeup and hairstyling. With a passion for crafting timeless, flawless looks, I work with clients across a variety of industries to bring their vision to life.

As a makeup artist, I focus on creating looks that evoke emotion and inspire thought. I strive to create meaningful and impactful work that speaks to the viewer on a personal level.
My journey into the world of makeup began in an unconventional way. What started as a personal desire to learn the art of makeup soon blossomed into a career. After enrolling in a makeup course to master the craft of enhancing my own features, I quickly discovered a deep passion for the artistry of makeup. Within just two weeks of starting the course, I knew I had found my true calling.
I draw my inspiration from the diverse faces of my clients and models, each offering a unique canvas for my creativity to flourish. Every individual is different, and I believe that every face tells its own story, which is what fuels my passion for transforming and enhancing natural beauty.
Over the years, my artistic vision has been refined through formal training at the prestigious P Louise Pro Makeup School, alongside attending numerous masterclasses with renowned artists from around the globe. I’ve also had the privilege of receiving one-on-one mentoring from some of the most talented Australian and international makeup artists and hairstylists, continually honing my craft to stay at the forefront of the beauty industry.
Originally from Ukraine, I have had the privilege of living in the Middle East before relocating to Australia 16 years ago. This diverse background has enriched my perspective and influenced my approach to makeup and hairstyling. Over the years, I have built an extensive portfolio, refined through a wide range of high-profile work.
My experience includes collaborating on commercial photo shoots for industries such as fitness, fashion, skincare, personal branding, boudoir, and modeling. In addition, I have had the honor of working with private clients for weddings and major events, as well as contributing to theatrical productions and television property shows. These varied experiences have allowed me to craft a comprehensive and dynamic portfolio that showcases my versatility and expertise across multiple facets of the beauty industry.
