Helen was the makeup artist for a promo photoshoot I was the model for recently. Not only was she instantly warm and personable, she’s incredibly talented and creative. Her knowledge and expertise is very valuable for someone like me with little experience.
She knew how to make me look flawless without even looking like I was wearing makeup - however I also saw special effects makeup looks she’s done and well…wow! We did one look that required me to look bruised and bloody and it was so realistic I was shocked. So not only can she do glam and editorial/fashion makeup she’s perfect for unique looks and special design.
Helen also advised me of particular products I can use moving forward that’ll make my skin look cleaner and fresh so thank you so much! Hope to be able to work with her again in the future and would not even think twice about hiring her myself personally.
My experience with Helen was absolutely incredible. I had a last minute wedding crisis that lead me needing a hair and makeup stylist the day before the wedding. I was lucky enough that Helen had a spot available and we were able to quickly plan and organise my bridal morning.
Helen was so calm and kind and on numerous times thoughout the morning, took the time out to pause, calm me down and breathe and that is something that I will remember as such an incredible highlight for a high nerve day.

I was in a bridal party over the weekend and had the privilege of Helen doing my make up. She didn't just apply my make up but also was really knowledgeable and gave me a few handy tips for when I apply my own make up which I thoroughly enjoyed. I really cannot fault her work, she is an absolute Da Vinci when it comes to perfection. My make up stayed on throughout the night until the morning and the touch up kit she included for the day was just the Cherry on top! She was also really helpful regarding hair touch ups for the entire bridal party. I've already recommended her to friends that are in search of a hair and make up artist for their up coming weddings.
I've done professional modelling for some time and Helen is honestly the most skilled MUA I've ever met. She works at lightning speed, but never loses any attention to detail. She was quick to adapt to any requests made by the shooting team, and switched from model to model & look to look with effortless ease.
Extremely talented, smart, hardworking and lovely to talk to - she put me at ease throughout the long day of shooting. She is a very valuable asset to any team and/or event. I plan to hire her for my own wedding one day!
We all love Helen’s work so much, she is professional, experienced and easy to communicate. We had a skincare brands’ photo-shooting, and Helen did two makeups & hairstyles for each of the 6 models in six hours time.
